There are many benefits to outsourcing software engineering to a competent and professional remote team, like being able to scale your project and your business more easily, working with talented developers, and reducing costs.

Anyone who’s ever had a job in food service knows how much manual administrative work can be involved in running the back of the house. Kitchen staff may spend hours a day doing inventory management via spreadsheets and whiteboards, and gathering data on what customers want.

The IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization, has been around in some form for over 150 years to support electrical, electronic, and computing professionals in their work. I often wonder why so many startup companies (or operating companies building a new product) feel they must use in-house, full-time labor to build their Minimum Viable Product (MVP). In many cases, I find that it is because the tech leader of the startup wants to assert their worth. Or because their executives are paranoid about their IP leaking. Whatever the reason, building your MVP with anything but outsourced labor in most cases makes little sense.
