AccelOne, in partnership with Vectorform, is excited to announce that we will be competing in the Seattle Interactive Conference IOT Hackathon! For those unaware, this is a big deal and we are thrilled to showcase our incredibly talented developers and the amazing work they’ve been doing. Additionally, we’re looking forward to rubbing shoulders with some of the industry’s best and brightest.
The Hackathon is being sponsored by T-Mobile and will focus on the theme of Tiny Home and Automotive. Contestants are given 36 hours to come up with a product or software relating to the theme and then judged on its usefulness, originality, technical difficulty and design. As a result, AccelOne and Vectorform have assembled our best developers and greatest minds to put together something quite special.
Entries will be judged by a panel of industry heavyweights including, T-Mobile’s Minister of Emerging Products, Ryan Yokel, Principle Investigator for Amazon, HB Siegel, CMO of Hashbang Games, Lisa Weeks and T-Mobile’s CIO, Cody Sanford.
Did we mention that the first place winner receives a $7,000 cash prize as well as lunch with Cody Sanford and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pitch to T-Mobile’s senior leadership team? Like we said, this is a big deal.
We won’t ruin the surprise for you and tell you what we’ve got planned, but rest assured it’s something good. Great, even. Exceptional. You get the gist.
The Hackathon is taking place at Galvanize Seattle in Pioneer Square and will run from 10:00 AM October 8th until 6:00 PM October 9th. We can’t wait to be there.
P.S. While we’re on the topic of competition, AccelOne will be hosting our own Hackathon later this year, on November 11th, in our offices in Buenos Aires. Stay tuned for more details.
